Gold EW Plant: 100 kg per week
A company in Cuba started production of gold by cyanide leaching, carbon adsorption, and electrowinning. This was done using SX Kinetics' modular gold electrowinning production plant. Gold is plated as gold powder onto stainless steel mesh cathodes and recovered from the cathodes by power spray wash.
Gold Electrowinning Plant: 5 kg per week
Gold directly from a proprietary leach solution. This was done using SX Kinetics' gold electrowinning plant. Gold is plated as gold metal onto reusable stainless steel cathodes.
Gold Electrowinning Plant: 5 kg per week
This gold electrowinning plant was designed and manufactured by SX Kinetics for a customer in Bolivia. This small plant is for the production of 5 kg of gold per week from carbon elution. The electrowinning plant included the electrolyte tanks, electrolyte pumps, the electrowinning cell, heat exchanger, circulation heater and rectifier. The plant is connected to a carbon elution circuit and it plates gold onto reusable stainless steel cathodes.
Gold Electrowinning Cell: 100 kg per week
This gold electrowinning cell was designed and manufactured by SX Kinetics for a customer in Spain. This EW cell with 9 cathodes and 10 anodes is sized to produce up to 100 kg of gold per week.
Copper or Cobalt Electrowinning Pilot Plant: 0.5 kg per day
Electrowinning pilot plant that has the option to use anode diaphragms. This EW pilot plant can be coupled to SX Kinetics' SX lab scale pilot plants and can be used for copper, cobalt, or nickel SX - EW projects. The EW cell can be used with or with the anodes in anode diaphragm bags.
SX Pilot Plant for Manganese
This solvent extraction pilot plant is for Kemetco Research in Richmond, BC. It will be used to test a new process to separate manganese from calcium.
