We provide mini solvent extraction pilot plants for laboratory and bench scale solvent extraction test programs. The following summarizes our laboratory scale solvent extraction pilot plants that we recently manufactured for various clients:

 

Our Laboratory Solvent Extraction Pilot Plant Features:

  • Completely assembled on stainless steel frame with vibration adsorption clamp

  • Easily to configure for various numbers of extraction, scrubbing and stripping stages  

  • Option to recycle either aqueous or organic with flow control roller pinch valves

  • Adjustable aqueous over-flow weirs for interface level control in the settlers

  • Variable speed constant torque mixers with digital rpm indication

  • SX impellers manufactured from polypropylene with titanium shafts

  • Flexible tubing assemblies with polypropylene threaded fittings

  • Peristaltic metering feed pumps with digital rpm indication

  • Complete with all accessory fittings, tubing, and operating manual

This laboratory solvent extraction pilot plant featured flanged mixer-settlers with flanged covers in order to provide an air tight seal for use with a solvent at a low flash point. The settlers and organic vessel featured glass jackets for circulation of hot water for operation at elevated temperatures. The pilot plant was used to evaluate the extraction of impurities from phosphoric acid.
